Yes. Mesh ID is a company registered in The Netherlands and is therefore bound by all European data privacy and security regulations, including GDPR. We provide all the tools you need to remain GDPR-compliant towards your clients. Mesh ID acts as a (sub-)processor of personal information and requires you to have the appropriate data processing agreements in place with your clients.

All data, both from Mesh ID and from our third-party data providers, is stored and processed exclusively within the European Union. By default, we do not partner with any providers that store or exchange data with the United States or other non-EU jurisdictions.

We can offer a fully whitelabeled solution, that means that the entire verification and onboarding experience for your clients is fully branded with your logo, fonts, colours and even domain. Your clients will experience Mesh ID as your service.

Mesh ID uses the same verification and fraud detection technology as large institutional banks use for their corporate clients. The liveness detection (checking if the person was physically present for the transaction) is rated at iBeta Level II (your iPhone face detection is rated at iBeta Level 0). Yes, Mesh ID is build following the API first principles. This makes Mesh ID easy to integrate into your current systems and/or workflows. Next to API's we also support webhooks. You can request access to our API documentation here.

With both Verify and Onboard you can be online within 24 hours after signing the contract. Both solutions work out of the box, however setting up journeys and MeshFlows in Onboard might take a bit more time. If you are in urgent need to remotely verify identities of a new client, please reach out to us and we will give you immediate access.

The technology underlying Mesh ID provides sufficient capabilities for regulated providers in Luxembourg to comply with CSSF regulations. The compliance processes and policies you employ will determine in which scenarios the use of Mesh ID will help you meet or exceed the local Luxembourg regulatory requirements.
